Dr. Mostafa completed his graduation (MBBCh) from the Alexandria University, Egypt in 1988. He completed his Masters in Emergency Medicine at the same institution in 1988.

Dr. Mostafa started his practice at the Ministry of Health as a General Practitioner in 1983. He then moved to the Alexandria University Hospital and practiced as an Emergency Medicine Resident in 1987. In 1989, Dr. Mostafa moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and practiced as an Emergency Physician at a military hospital. In the year 2000, Dr. Mostafa moved back to his home Egypt where he was the Head of the Emergency Department at the Al Mossat Hospital. Subsequently, in 2002, Dr. Mostafa moved to Kuwait where he practiced for a brief tenure at a government hospital. In 2003, he moved to the United Arab Emirates where he practiced at a number of reputed and well known hospitals in UAE as an Emergency Medicine Specialist and the Deputy Head of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Mostafa has more than two decades of experience working as an Emergency Physician. He is an instructor for AHLS (Advanced HAZMAT Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) and European Pediatric Life Support. Dr. Mostafa is also an instructor and course director in European advanced life support Course (ALS) and instructor in European Trauma Course ( ETC). He is an international instructor trainer for European Resuscitation Council courses.
