Dr. Rekha Santosh has over 14 years of experience in the field of Dermatology. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from the Mahatma Gandhi University, India in 2001 and her MD in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, India in 2006. She has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dermatology and was certified in Aesthetic Medicine from the International Academy of Aesthetic Medicine in 2010. She also did her Certification in Injectables (Botox and Fillers) from the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine in 2014. She underwent further certification in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She also holds an International Certificate in Lasers and Energy-based Devices from the European Society of Laser Dermatology.

In 2003, she started her career as a Resident in Dermatology in her home country. After 3 years, she joined as Consultant Dermatologist at Credence Hospital, India, where she gained experience in handling skin concerns of women. In 2007, she worked as Consultant Dermatologist and Head of Dermatology unit in Bangalore Baptist Hospital, a multi-specialty tertiary care and teaching hospital in India. In 2011, she moved to the UAE and continued her practice as Specialist Dermatologist in a private hospital in Abu Dhabi. Her areas of expertise are aesthetic medicine, laser hair removal, fractional lasers, botox, facial rejuvenation, PRP for management of hair loss, chemical peels microdermabrasion, cryotherapy, biologics in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, patch testing in dermatitis.

She is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Emirates Dermatological Society, and Indian Association of Dermatologists.

She is well-versed in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Urdu.
