Dr. Hanan Ali Mohammad has joined Burjeel Hospital as Specialist – Ophthalmology. She obtained her M.B.B.CH., Master’s Degree from Cairo University and completed her PHD research from Beni Suef University in Egypt in 2019.  She further went on to become Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow (FRCS) and Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). 

Dr. Hanan Ali Mohammad has more than 11 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology managing glaucoma, oculoplastic conditions and corneal and retinal diseases. She has been associated with eminent healthcare institutions in Cairo (Research Institute Of Ophthalmology) and Abu Dhabi.  

Dr. Hanan Ali Mohammad has special interest in Pediatric Ophthalmology, and an expert in diagnosis and management of various ocular diseases that affect children including congenital eye abnormalities, strabismus, amblyopia, glaucoma, disease of lacrimal system and other eye conditions.
