Dr. Shiju started his career as a junior resident in ICU at Pondicherry Institute of medical sciences, India after passing MBBS in 2011. Dr. Shiju worked as a Medical Officer in various specialties including occupational health and emergency medicine. He has also worked with other dimensions of the hospital environment such as, in management, health checkups and insurance. Dr. Shiju moved to UAE in 2020 and joined a private hospital in Dubai where he practiced as a General Practitioner in Emergency Department.

He has more than 7 years of experience in his field and regularly participates in specialized courses, workshops, and training. He has taken ACLS, BLS and PALS and holds NRP, BDLS and PHTLS status.
