Dr. Govinda Shenoy is a Consultant Neonatologist and Head of the department. He had extensive medical training in teaching hospitals in Saudi Arabia and U.K. He has 30 years’ experience in Neonatology. He has worked for 23 years in a multispecialty government hospital in Abu Dhabi. He established a level III NICU in Medeor hospital, Abu Dhabi in 2015. In 2020 he shifted to Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He is in charge of the Neonatal Department of all the hospitals in Abu Dhabi in VPS Healthcare. He is an expert in the management of Extreme preterm from 25 weeks with 500 gm weight and above, by Non-Invasive ventilation technique. Plenty of extreme preterms has been sent home without any complications.

In his long career, he has managed all preterm and newborns with all types of medical, surgical, sick babies and early management of congenital heart diseases efficiently.

Languages known - English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Konkani and can manage Tagalog.
