Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed completed his MBBS of Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1989. He studied his EMDM from the European Master of Disaster Medicine in 2010.
In 1991, he began his medical practice as a ED & Surgical Resident in Khartoum Teaching Hospital and eventually became a Medical Director in Ruwaba Hospital, Sudan. He then headed to Saudi Arabia and worked as an ED & Family Physician in Ahad Rufaida Hospital & PHCCS. During his last year in Jubail General Hospital, Saudi Arabia, he was appointed as the Supervisor of the Medical Information Centre and Medical Reports Department. He continued his practice in the UAE as an emergency specialist in a public hospital in Abu Dhabi, he was also associated with the ADNOC Offshore in which he held several positions. He had his locum job responsibilities as a Consultant ED Physician in Asir Central Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Mahmoud has authored several publications. He has participated in different conferences and courses internationally that garnered him to manage and lead in an organization.
He is a member of the MRCSI and MRCSEd (A&E), of the ETC International Course Management Committee, ERC- Advanced Life Support Science and Education Committee, also he is the National Lead and Coordinator for ETC in UAE. He introduced the ERC courses to several countries: Sudan, Tunis, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and UAE. He also became an associate fellow of the College of Emergency Medicine in UK. He was an instructor for ATLS of the American College of Surgeons and American Health & Safety Institute and ZADCO training center director in Abu Dhabi and he is the Founder & Director of Human Resuscitation Council.
