Prior to joining Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, Dr. Muhammad Saleem has several roles in Zayed Military Hospital including Staff Physcian in General Surgery And Trauma And Emergency Department, for 4-Years.Before that, he served as Senior Registrar/Surgical Specialist in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital handling all the surgical and trauma emergencies for 5-years.he also worked as Specialist Surgeon in Zakryia Hospital for 3-years .Dr.Saleem has been mentoring and teaching medical students and surgical residents from 2002 to 2007 in Fatima Jinnah Medical College affiliated with Sirganga Ram Hospital Lahore. He participated in multiple studies to improve the quality and care of patients as well as training of medical students.
Dr.Muhammad Saleem has been living in Abu Dhabi with wife and three children.
Dr. Muhammad Saleem earned his medical degree at Nishtar Medical College Multan, Pakistan. He completed residency in general surgery at Shaikh Zayed Hospital, affiliated with Federal Post Graduate Medical Institute, Lahore Pakistan from 1998 until 2001. In 2002, he has fellowship from college of Physician and Surgeon of Pakistan and membership from Royal College of Surgeon Edinburgh, UK in 2010.
