Dr. Sausan Abdul Rahman has joined burjeel hospital as a Consultant - Obstetrics and Gynecology with her vision to provide optimum health outcomes and support women undergo pleasant birth experiences. She completed her MB, ChB from Al Nahrain College of Medicine, Iraq in 1994.  Her thirst for knowledge and experience in this field allowed her to join the Arab Board membership and became Arab board certified in 2000.

She worked as a head of department of Obstetrics and gynecology in University of Iraq until 2007. Then, she moved to UAE and continued her practice as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in a private healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi for 6 years. 

Dr. Sausan keen interest is in complex Obstetrical surgical procedure, high risk pregnancy while she ensures to deliver exceptional results with utmost maternal satisfaction, performing instrumental deliveries like forceps, ventose extractions, water birth. 

She has also keen interest in fetal medicine unit, fertility and vulvo and vaginal aesthetic procedure and laser rejuvenation. She has high quality training in different Obstetrical and gynecological emergencies, multiple cesarean scars, ovarian cystectomy, myomectomy, hysterectomy, AP repair and vaginal hysterectomy.
