Dr. Semon Abdelshaheed, Specialist Pediatrician with more than 15 years of clinical experience in the field of Pediatrics. She has been certified from faculty of Medicine, Cairo university. Dr. Semon has started her training in Egypt, she had her residency program in busy governmental hospitals where she was exposed to huge wide varieties of Pediatric cases whether chronic or acute cases, which significantly enriched her academic and clinical expertise in general Pediatrics, Neonatology and different Pediatric subspecialities. 

Dr. Semon has special interest in Pediatric Endocrinology where she has her own study about Detection of an Earlier Tubulopathy in Diabetic Nephropathy which was published under her name in the Iranian Journal of Kidney diseases. 

After finishing her training and achieving her degree, she has worked as specialist pediatrician in Egypt in private and governmental hospitals, and for the last decade she has been working in JCI accredited organizations in Saudi Arabia, Doha and Dubai.

Dr. Semon brings vast knowledge, clinical experience and practice in dealing with Pediatric emergencies, different endocrine disorders including type 1 diabetes mellitus, hypo and hyperthyroidism, obesity and relevant Pediatric diet control. 

She specialises in General Pediatrics including vaccinations and catch up, neonatal assessment, growth and development, infectious diseases and gastrointestinal disorders. She is well talented to provide professional parental education for various health issues like breast feeding and nutrition. Based on her rich background, she also manages chest disorders like infections and bronchial asthma, malnutrition and urinary disorders like nocturnal enuresis
